Honed concrete is very similar to polished concrete, but is designed for exterior surfaces. It is highly durable, strong and extremely low maintenance.
Honed concrete can be used as an alternative to conventional surfaces such as tiles, pavers, stamped or stencilled concrete and exposed aggregate. With its desirable smooth finish, it is easy underfoot, making it a joy to walk on. It's a perfect way to transform and add style to any outdoor area including driveways, pathways, alfrescos and pool surrounds.
Our honed concrete process takes form through the grind and seal method, revealing as little or as much aggregate as desired. It can be finished in matt, semi or high gloss sealer to achieve your desired look.
Importantly, we will ensure your finished surfaces meet the Australian standards anti-slip rating (AS/NZS 3661, 4586, 4663) to reduce the risk of injury.
